FreeRIP MP3 CD to MP3 Converter is a Windows' software that comes packed with features.
At its core, FreeRIP MP3 Converter reads audio from your CDs and allows you to save them to your computer in a variety of digital formats including WMA, MP3, Ogg, Wav, or FLAC audio files (this process is known as CD Ripping). But it can also convert existing music files from one format to another.
Very first version of FreeRIP dates back to 1999, so it is probably one of the older software product around. This does not mean it is outdated: it has been rewritten multiple times to work great on modern hardware and operating systems.
And we are proud to say that from 1999 to 2011, FreeRIP was developed and published from MGShareware! Now it is owned by Romanian company GreenTree Applications SRL.
